Acorn scents range gets a new look!
Bolster Community Newry is delighted to announce the launch of their fresh and exciting rebranded Acorn Home Scents range. The news comes after months of hard work, tough decisions and lots of trialling, and is right on time for Christmas shopping lists!
In the refresh, the hard-working Bolster team has kept all their best-selling scents and added a couple of highly anticipated new additions. The Soy Wax Candles are made from plant wax with no added chemicals. We use luxury natural fragrance oils to give a lasting scent in your space. Our products are not tested on animals and over 90% of our packaging is recyclable, giving you peace of mind while you enjoy our range. All products in the range are vegan friendly and cruelty free.
Kathy Wilson Social Enterprise Manager said, “As well as our best-selling candles, melts and soaps we have added in a couple of gorgeous luxury gift options, such as a 3 votive gift set allowing you to sample three gorgeous scents; and a showstopper three wick table centre piece. In addition, we have introduced new reed diffusers in four magnificent scents.”
Kathy stressed that no matter how amazing the products smell and look, Bolster wanted to remind everyone of the bigger picture behind the products.
She said, “Our story is totally different to all other Candlemakers and businesses, and I think that is how we stand out. Our products are made in the heart of Newry with love by local young adults of mixed ability. Our wonderful team of dedicated candlemakers literally pour their heart and soul into everything they do. “
The mission of the Acorn Home Scent Range is for every purchase to provide pride, purpose and opportunities for our candlemakers.

Candlemaker Gary said, “We are so happy to finally launch our new products. There is something in the range to suit everyone. I really love the new Molten Amber scent and I’m getting ready for a busy few weeks in the workshop.”
Candlemaker Olivia added, “I love the colours of the new packaging. The colours are really rich and I can’t wait to show them off to my family and friends. I’m so proud of all we have achieved in the last few months.”
