No Filters

Bolster Community has been awarded the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council PEACEPLUS Social & Emotional Support Programme under Strand 2-Thriving and Peaceful Communities.

This programme forms part of the wider PEACEPLUS initiative, designed to strengthen peacebuilding, social inclusion, resilience, and positive relationships across communities.

Bolster Community will deliver “No Filters”, an evidence-informed youth resilience and wellbeing programme supporting young people aged 12-18 years across the district.

What will the programme consist of?

Bolster Community is excited to invite youth groups to be part of No Filters, an evidence-informed resilience and wellbeing programme for young people aged 12-18.

This Project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

No Filters is built around one simple idea: Small Missions. Big Impact.

Through a series of creative, interactive missions, young people will take on fun challenges that encourage teamwork, communication and problem-solving while exploring topics that matter to them. Rather than traditional workshops, each mission is designed to naturally spark conversation, reflection and personal growth through engaging, hands-on experiences.

Throughout the programme, young people will:

  • Build confidence and resilience.
  • Develop stronger communication and teamwork skills.
  • Meet and connect with other young people.
  • Explore real-life situations through creative challenges.
  • Celebrate their own strengths and recognise the value of others.
  • Feel heard, supported and empowered to share their ideas in a safe environment.
  • Take part in workshops, an away day and end of project celebration
The programme combines creative, practical and social activities, allowing young people to learn new skills, build positive relationships and develop a stronger sense of belonging.

Workshops are available for delivery throughout the programme year (Aug 2026 – July 2027) providing flexibility for each group. Groups will take part in a range of exciting missions and an away day throughout the year before coming together to celebrate everything they’ve achieved at a final showcase event in July 2027.

If you’re a youth group working with 12-18 year olds and would like to find out more or register your interest, we’d love to hear from you.

Together, let’s give young people the opportunity to grow in confidence, build lasting connections and make a positive impact in their communities.
