Family Support Service for Families of Children with a Disability
For parents and carers of children with a disability, finding, understanding and navigating their way through a myriad of services/agencies can be challenging. This innovative service is designed to be a first step on that journey and aims to tackle the exclusion of children with a disability. This service responds to the child’s needs, maximising their health, enjoyment, potential and development within a community setting. We aim to minimise time spent on waiting lists and the service is crucial in assisting families in a timely and responsive manner and is designed to respond to the needs of children who may be disadvantaged without this assistance.
This service is available through to the Armagh Family Support Hub for people living in the Armagh and Dungannon area to guide, advise and refer onward if necessary.
