Did you know we’ve now been here helping families and members of our community for 20 years? Bolster Community was initially founded in Oct 2004 as a health initiative by our CEO Jacinta Linden, and has grown into a trusted organisation, rooted in compassion and driven by a belief in the power of early intervention, practical support, and community connection.

To mark 20 years of Bolster Community’s work, we wanted to share something special: the voices and stories of the people behind the impact. From service users to volunteers and staff, these stories offer a powerful glimpse into how our work touches lives and strengthens communities. While we can only showcase a small number, each story captures something bigger than statistics ever could – real people, real challenges, and real change.
