Tracy McCartney
Training Development Officer
Tracy is our Training and Development Officer and came to us in 2019 with over 20 years of experience delivering training to parents and children in the community and voluntary sector. Tracy’s passion is designing and delivering creative therapies for both adults and children and with this creativity and past experience meant that she very quickly settled into the Bolster Community team and within no time was adding the Tracy Twist to our programmes and events. Her “Ladies Nights” in November proved very popular and participants loved her jewellery and candle making workshops which she hosted with warmth, humour and lashings of good food and prosecco.
Outside of work Tracy runs a busy home with three teenagers. Tracy is fearless and up for a challenge. Faced with the task of supervising 20 teenage boys on a night-time mountain trek in the middle of February, she fluffed up her hair, slapped on the lippy and got on with it, making sure everyone got home safely and with a smile on their faces.
