Community Play Worker
Gemma is no stranger to Bolster Community having been a volunteer with us for over two years, then secured a part-time position as a Family Support Worker and more recently becoming our Community Play Worker.
A mum of two, she is all too aware of the many challenges facing families in a modern world. As a parent Gemma is delighted to pass on her experience and knowledge to the families that she supports giving them a helping hand along the way. She is an avid learner and is always keen to learn and grow within her role. Gemma is an amazing trainer, a fab family support worker and totally dedicated to the impact arising from the programmes she delivers including: Friends Resilience, Strengthening Families, Incredible years and Parents Plus to name only a few.
On an evening Gemma is partial to a nice takeaway from her local Chinese and likes to have movie nights with her children.
