Hello… and THANK YOU!!
My name is Aoife and I’m one of the candle-makers at Bolster. The candle you have in your hand right now was made by none other than my wonderful self. And I truly can’t thank you enough. The money you’ve spent goes right back into our community and is used for services at Bolster that support families, young adults and seniors. From babies to older people, you’ve just helped us make a difference for people of all ages.
Besides making candles at Bolster Community, I spend a lot of my time doing art. I like to be creative and use my imagination. I’m also a runner and am part of a running club. My favourite place to run is Kilbroney Forest Park. We’re so lucky to have somewhere so beautiful nearby! I love how it feels to be in nature and being outside in the fresh air. An even nicer feeling is being out in nature or going on a trip with Bolster and all of my friends. Noreen and Kathy are in the candle shop every week and it’s a relief to have somewhere to go where people are so understanding and kind.
